The Ferndale Municipal Court is a court of limited jurisdiction. The municipal court judge is authorized by Washington State statute to preside over the following types of cases: non-traffic infractions, traffic infractions, criminal misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors. The court schedules arraignments, pre-trial hearings, non-jury and jury trials, sentencing, reviews, etc. The court supervises related services including legal representation for indigent persons, probation, and interpreter services.

Ferndale Municiple Court meets each Friday begining at 8:45 a.m. It usually concludes by 1:00 p.m. Court is held in the City Hall Annex, Council Chambers Meeting Room at 5694 Second Ave.
